Congrats!! You've made it through your Single-Elims and are now ready to venture into the world of Swiss.

Whats this mean to you as a TD? Well the players tend to enjoy Swiss more so a higher number of players enter.. and no one gets eliminated, so you have more scores to do for every round! Some things are different in both the setup and the actual running of the tourney.

This section is going to discuss only the differences of setting
up a swiss vs what your use to with S/Es.

        CHOOSE SWISS !!

        ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

NUMBER OF ROUNDS: Change this to 4 instead of 8 as you did for s/e .

Towards the bottom you will see:

        True Swiss System? -Yes -No

You'll want to leave that as NO. If you switch it to yes it means the
tourney will end after a designated number of rounds, even if a winner is not declared! Also, if there are more players registered than the rounds have allotted for, when closing ALWAYS expand your tourney to include these players.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE HOSTING A TRUE SWISS CHANGE TO "YES" PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE TOURNEY WILL GO TO WHATEVER NUMBER OF ROUNDS YOU'VE SET REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT A WINNER CAN BE DECLARED.

        ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

On your Administration page you are to use the RANDOM seed
        selection since it's the fairest.

        ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Everything is relatively the same until you get to your pairings. You'll see
one of two screens shown below. The one without the blue strips you
can just proceed down to the bottom and Accept Current Pairings.

If the blue strips appear it's an indicator that those players have already
competed against each other and it's up to you to rematch them up with
players they have not played. You can use the chart to the left of the
pairs to reference who has played whom.

Next to the players name in ( )  is the # of wins they have... its very
important to make sure of a few things..

Do NOT swap players if they are the undefeated players at the top. This
will prolong your tourney and gives other players a chance to win that
        have been defeated.

Do NOT take away the bye from a player that hasn't won any rounds.
If Cases gives the bye to the same person in a tourney, please pick another player with the same record to switch with.

Once you determine you have a good swap choose each of the players
names one at a time from the drop down menus ... then click swap
        players. Review Pairings.

If you have a good swap blue strips will be gone and you can Accept Current Pairings.

Everything else is pretty much what your use to!

Go ahead and go into the training site at www.myleague.com/tdtraining
once there you'll see where you can set up not only a fake tourney but
you'll see a list of fake players and passwords that you can sign into your
tourney and use to walk you through the tourney operations!

YOUR NOW READY TO GO OUT AND GIT R DONE !! GOOD
        LUCK SWISSING !!
